This is one of my captive bred giant forest scorpions (Gigantometrus swammerdami). This juvenile female could someday grow to a whopping 8-9 inches in length, making this species the largest scorpion in the world 🦂. This record was previously held by the emperor scorpion (Pandinus imperator) until a large female weighing approx. 56g and measuring 9 inches was found!
