William Hawtin, a Canadian Pentecostal minister, attended one of Branham's Vancouver meetings in November 1947 and was impressed by Branham's healings. Branham was an important influence on the Latter Rain revival movement, which Hawtin helped initiate.

The VGR library was officially started in Ghana between the early to mid 1980's after a visit to the country by Brother Billy Paul, Brother Joseph, and Sister Rebecca, of blessed memory. In 1993, I was elected as the VGR country representative and distributor.

He served as a trained minister under Pastor Van Doodo, at Unique Christian Tabernacle, in Accra – Ghana, before moving to evangelize and gathering the saints who presently fellowship at the Grounds of Grace Tabernacle, in the Central Region of Ghana.

From the minute he was born (April 6, 1909), William Branham was set apart from the ordinary. Right after he was born, a light, almost like a star, flew into the room and startled his parents Charles and Ella Branham.
