It seems Autumn is not quite here yet, so plan to go back and reshoot some of these in a few weeks, So any feedback will be handy. All shot on a Fuji XT2 with 10-24mm. I think a circular polariser is needed here...

Feb 3, 2025 · No camping at Bellever, just the youth hostel. There have been a lot of issues there. That's why the car park is now locked at night. Lakehead Hill, a cleared area in the forestry on the way to Bellever Tor, is well worth a visit if you're at all interested in pre-history. It's an easy walk. Do an online search for a map of the antiquities.

Nov 8, 2024 · 460 miles round trip which is a tank and a bit of petrol if I take it easy, so £80-90. Plus £25 (!!!!!) to park, so yes about half the price. But the prospect of a 5-6 hour drive each way, either side of a day walking round isn’t something I’d want to do.

Jun 30, 2012 · The one I knew about at Coniston was on the east side of the lake, just a minute or so walk from the Rigg Woods forest car park. If it isn't the same it certainly looks 95% like the one in that shot, which gives you more options. Despite it being photographed many times, have a good think as to how you can make it your own?

Oct 18, 2011 · Monkey Forest Also, have a look into the brick industry if you want something with a bit of a story behind it... there's loads of brickworks around Stoke, either in operation or disused now. Chesterton, Parkhouse, Silverdale, Brownhills spring to mind. You could combine that with coal mining again at Silverdale.
