Jan 3, 2024 · Over the years I've found that less is more when it comes to modding Skyrim. Which sounds ironic considering that my collection is an all-in-one that weighs in at 24.7GB. Things are easier for me to install when I don't have to configure a lot of options or resolve complex compatibility issues.

The Thanedom mods either take locations like mills and add small villages to them with the mill owners as Thanes, or create entirely new small communities with a brand new Thane running things. There's also few "hamlets" mods, which are 3-4 home "tiny" home communties with 1 tiny garden to maintain a few families.
