They were key figures in the Irish War of Independence against the British in the early 20th Century and then came to prominence again in the latter part of the century after the Bloody Sunday massacre in which peaceful protestors were killed by British troops.

It's folks like me who had to suffer through the horrors of the troubles and deal with the consequences of a bloody war that changed NOTHING. Please reconsider praising these terrorists again.
