Just that the weather can be gloomy and unpleasant for long stretches. Sydney gets approximately twice as much precipitation as Toronto and spring arrives about a month later. Temperature-wise, May in Cape Breton is equivalent to April in Ontario. If you don't like Ontario's humid heat, then you may actually like that Cape Breton is milder.

Especially if you're basing your assumption on what life is like from tourist brochures. Baddeck seems busy because it's a tourist town - it's definitely bustling in summer, but as soon as that ends most of it dies down.

People are super rude and think they are better then everyone even though they are a bunch a greasy hicks with little education, many live on welfare and I'm surprised any of them get into universities in general

Recently I learned about a new Christian school operating in North Sydney called Munro Academy. They operate a school for small children, but I looked into the separate high school they operate. There's a new NSCC campus with a pedway over the waterfront street downtown Sydney.
