It just seems like the Philadelphia 76ers have a black cloud over them. The Sixers dropped a home matchup 121-107 to the Indiana Pacers on Friday, but the biggest loss wasn't the game, it was losing Joel Embiid.

Embiid was trying to make a defensive play 12 seconds before halftime of a 121-107 loss to Indiana. He did not return to the game and will undergo further evaluation this weekend.

30 minutes before the start of the game, the Sixers added veteran point guard Kyle Lowry to their injury report as questionable with lower back spasms. Moments later, he was ruled out for the game. Nurse has noted in the past a desire to be cautious with the workload of Lowry, the 38-year-old floor general with plenty of mileage.
