Travis Dermott finds a new home with the Minnesota Wild while the New York Islanders place forwards Pierre Engvall and Oliver Wahlstrom on the wire.

The Wild claimed Dermott just hours after announcing that defenseman Jake Middleton would miss significant time after sustaining a hand injury Thursday night. He is believed to have broken a finger in his right hand on his first shift against the Oilers when he was struck by a wrist shot from Evan Bouchard.
