Longtime Nebraska volleyball fans heard “Florida A&M” and grimaced. Their minds flashed back 20 years to the 2004 home opener when the Huskers dropped a four-set match to the Rattlers in Sarah Pavan’s debut at the Coliseum in 2004. Cook promptly gave the current Huskers a history lesson upon hearing their first-round opponent.

Nebraska and Wisconsin have appeared three times apiece in the national championship match. But this year, they can't both go.
