Antoine Fuqua’s upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, “Michael,” may be split into two movies. As a result, the Lionsgate and Universal Pictures International project will likely push its current Oct. 3 release date.

Deadline. The film from director Antione Fuqua was a big part of 2024's Lionsgate CinemaCon presentation, however no footage from the biopic was shown during these year's convention, nor was it even mentioned.

Producer Graham King is mulling a new reality for the project, but the idea is in early stages and would require sign-off from multiple partners, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
