Heavy rain and flooding has caused disruption across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The Environment Agency has issued 17 flood warnings for Lincolnshire, including areas near Bourne, Grantham, Lincoln and Sleaford.

Heavy rain has fallen across Sussex causing flooding and disruption to some travel services. A Met Office yellow weather alert and flood warnings are in place, including at Hellingly and Horsebridge on the Cuckmere and Bull Rivers, at Cowfold on the Adur and at Barcombe Mills on the Ouse.

Dozens of people have been rescued from flooded homes and stranded cars as a soggy and cold spell continued to disrupt life across parts of the U.K.
