The stakes are high as six U.S. riders preapre to compete at Xtreme Verbier for the finals of the FIS Freeride World Tour.

On March 7, the Boston Bruins traded Charlie Coyle and a 2026 fifth-round pick to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Casey Mittelstadt, Will Zellers, and 2025 second-round pick. Overall, while it undoubtedly was tough to see a longtime Bruin like Coyle go, they got a solid return for the Weymouth, Massachusetts native.

Marcus Goguen and his fellow male skiers were unable to compete at the Freeride World Tour's (FWT) stop in Fieberbrunn, Austria due to unfavourable weather, but Goguen still topped the Cut ahead of Verbier's season finale.

Noémie Equy is your 2025 Freeride World Tour Champion, and the season’s not even over yet. Equy was crowned top dog at the the Fieberbrunn Pro last week. She tore up the early parts of the season, consistently landing on the podium.
