A legal bid to stop a sewerage pipe being installed in a wāhi tapu area near Rotorua has failed in the Environment Court.
Letters were sent to Barnard College, Bowdoin College, Northwestern University, Pomona College, and Sarah Lawrence College.
The protesting students demanded a written assurance that the land would be formally registered under the university.
