Tasmania’s Bay of Fires has been named ‘Best Australian Beach’ for 2025 in the official list released by Tourism Australia.

For the first time in 16 years since the list first started, Tasmania has come out on top. Despite the often chillier conditions, Mr Fraser said the Bay of Fires was worthy of the coveted title.
