A new poll from the Siena College Research Institute finds relatively bad news for New York Gov. Kathy Hochul: just a third of voters said they would re-elect her, and her favorability rating is just 39 percent.

More than half of voters would rather vote for a gubernatorial candidate who isn’t Democratic incumbent Kathy Hochul in 2026, according to a newly released poll from the Siena College Research Institute.
