Google releases a ‘Pixel Drop’ feature update for all supported Pixel devices every month, but the December edition is one of its biggest of the year. In total, there are 20 new features rolling out to Pixel phones and the Pixel Tablet today,

“The latest Pixel Drop brings more intelligent, helpful and intuitive features to your devices, with new ways to use Gemini, camera improvements and security updates,” Fajardo wrote in the post’s lede. “Better yet, it brings some favorite features to more countries.”

Android Auto has stopped outputting audio for some Pixel users. The problem seems to have popped up after installing the December Pixel Drop. Both wired and wireless connections seem to be affected.

Google has just released the December Pixel Drop for owners of the Pixel 8 series and Pixel 9 series on T-Mobile.

There are new features rolling out to Fitbit and older Pixel Watch smartwatches — with a focus on tracking performance. The Pixel drop introduces Cardio Load and Target Load (which debuted on the Pixel Watch 3) to older models.
