After suffering a gruesome leg injury last March, Florida basketball C Micah Handlogten has recovered quicker than expected and could be back in 2024-25

Handlogten decided earlier this week to forgo a redshirt and return to the court beginning Saturday against rival Georgia. But the 7-foot-1 junior changed his mind late Friday and watched in street clothes as the fifth-ranked Gators dominated the Bulldogs 89-59.

Florida's Micah Handlogten has been cleared to return and will have final say in whether he plays this season or waits for the next one, coach Todd Golden said.

Florida center Micah Handlogten has rehabbed hard after suffering a broken leg in the SEC Championship Game last year and could return to the Gators this year.
