Aaron Rodgers figures his football resume speaks for itself. So the New York Jets’ quarterback doesn’t feel the need to use the final stretch of this season to prove his value to the team and that he should be back next season.

In the Jets’ 26-21 loss to the Seahawks in Week 13, Rogers averaged a season-worst 4.8 yards per attempt when he had a clean pocket per NFL Next Gen Stats. In total, Rodgers has had five games under 5.2 yards per attempt in this area.

During the offseason, many had the New York Jets in the Super Bowl conversation. Flash forward a few months later and the team is 3-9, fired its coach and general manager and rumors are circulating that some in the organization want Aaron Rodgers benched while more talk has Rodgers wanting out of New York all together at season's end.
