FLORENCE, S.C. – Men plan, weather laughs. That was, perhaps, a takeaway for would-be penguin plungers who checked out the weather forecast for Saturday and assumed a spring-like day.

Nearly three dozen polar plungers registered this year. Each raised at least $50 along with  a number of community partners.
