Actor Jimmy Martin, who played "Auld" Eric in BBC sitcom Still Game, has died at the age of 93. Martin appeared in 47 episodes of the show alongside Greg Hemphill and Ford Kiernan between 2002 and 2018. He was one of the few members of the cast who was actually a pensioner when the show began, but his character was killed off in the eighth series.

The British actor Julian Holloway - who featured in Carry On films as well as on TV and stage - has died aged 80.
