Hundreds of thousands of Geordies lined the streets of Newcastle to celebrate the homecoming of their Carabao Cup-winning heroes.
A coastal low just to the east of the New South Wales coast is forecast to deepen and linger over the Tasman Sea into early next week bringing unsettled weather to the central and southern coasts.
