Apple released a new macOS Yosemite update that accidentally lists the unreleased M4 MacBook Air models. The launch must be close.

Seemingly, for the first time in forever, Apple will be updating every single Mac with an M4 chip, presuming rumors hold correct. There have been a number of times where this has been close, but it hasn’t happened anytime in the past decade, at least.

The M4 Pro is 84 percent faster than the M4 in the PugetBench Premiere Pro video benchmarks, and the M4 Max is an extra 39 percent faster on top of that. (Of course, the large amount of RAM in our test units is also pulling extra weight with video and photo work.)
