Israel warned the country’s ceasefire with Hezbollah could collapse if the U.S.-designated terrorist group does not abide by the conditions of the deal.

Israeli troops withdrew from the southern Lebanese town of Naqoura on Monday, amid growing accusations from both sides of major violations of the Israel, Hezbollah ceasefire.

Israel, with backing from the United States, is reportedly working to extend the 60-day ceasefire agreed with the Lebanese Hezbollah militia at the end of November, according to a media report. The move aims to prevent the ceasefire,

US envoy Amos Hochstein arrived in Beirut on Monday ahead of a meeting of the committee monitoring the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, which has entered its second month. The visit comes amid mounting tension and accusations of violations from both sides.

Israel and the Hezbollah militant group accused each other of failing to meet the requirements of a 60-day ceasefire deal, which expires on Jan. 26.
