Adam Sandler can't stop laughing through an "SNL" sketch filled with fake blood, in an episode hosted by his longtime friend Chris Rock.

Adam Sandler, who was a cast member on SNL from 1990-1995, surprised the audience in a skit where he played a patient being operated on. Sandler wakes up after a nurse left an AirPod inside him, and starts spurting blood. It’s a perfectly ridiculous sketch, and Sandler breaks several times as he sprays fake blood on the rest of the cast.

This year’s Christmas episode of SNL saw the return of Chris Rock to host, but another former cast member joined him for the funniest skit of the night. It also seemed to introduce a character from Sarah Sherman that could pop up again with future sketches.
