Remembering wedding anniversaries won’t be a problem for nine couples who chose to go before a judge and make their vows on Valentine’s Day. Mercer County Family Court became the setting Friday for nine couples who decided to tie the knot.

Five Valentine’s Day weddings were scheduled at Carroll County Circuit Court in Westminster, including couples from Hampstead and Taneytown.

The couples got married during a group ceremony at The Carriage House. One of the couples who got married on Friday met at a YMCA gym program for cancer survivors. They became fishing buddies who later fell in love.
