Newtownards to Bangor £5.6 million greenway gets underway
Work on the ground for the new Newtownards to Bangor greenway has started. The new greenway includes three and four metre-wide paths, pedestrian/cycle railing, fencing, lighting and planting.

The greenway is also sold as a way to get to Whitespots Country Park near Newtownards – but it travels along a disused rail line on the opposite side of the dual carriageway to the country park.
