There are several chances of rain over the next seven days. It will be nothing severe, but it will not be a complete washout. After today’s temperatures in the 50s, a mild weather pattern will unfold until the end of next week.

Meteorologists expect some pockets of rain in Southern California during the morning and late afternoon. Some areas may have 0.1 inches of rain or less.

Friday will see some on-and-off showers to continue soggy conditions in Northern California, but a heavier weather system is approaching. KCRA 3 is calling Saturday an Impact Day because of how heavy rain and snow will affect outdoor activities and travel.

The Sierra is expected to see at least a foot more snow into Saturday as strong winds will whip across Northern California.
