MadeGood and parent company Riverside Natural Foods issued a recall Monday for some of its granola bar products due to potential metal contamination.

Riverside has conducted an extensive investigation where the recalled products were manufactured, and has identified the source of the issue in the manufacturing process. The company has remediated the issue and tested the new processes to ensure that any future risk is fully mitigated.

Riverside Natural Foods, the makers of MadeGood granola bars, recalled some batches of the product because they could contain a piece of metal. The company announced the recall in a news release, saying it was a precautionary measure, and there haven’t been any reports of injuries.
