Louisville-area schools are watching the weather forecast as a winter storm system is expected to reach Kentucky on Friday.

The University of Kentucky cancelled all campus events Sunday. The Student Center will also be closed, but hospitals and clinics will be open. Bellarmine University has not announced plans to suspend campus activities due to the storm, but urged students to sign up for alerts in case of cancellations in a Facebook post Friday.
