A day after Devers told reporters about his refusal to play first base, Henry and others flew to Kansas City to meet with Devers and manager Alex Cora.

Henry was accompanied by Craig Breslow and team president Sam Kennedy. But Henry alone sat with Devers and manager Alex Cora in the visiting manager’s office at Kauffman Stadium.
