The Charlie Morton era is over in Atlanta, but the Braves might be able to fill his spot with some options within the organization

The Baltimore Orioles confirmed on Friday that they are signing Morton to a 1-year, $15 million deal. Morton marks the second pitching departure for Atlanta after Max Fried signed a 8 year, $218 million deal with the New York Yankees.

Charlie Morton will be expected to bring stability to the Orioles’ pitching staff as a durable, middle-of-the-rotation starter.
