Bybit, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has received a $600 million Ethereum (ETH) deposit from Mirana Ventures following a $1.5 billion security breach that drained ETH-based assets from the platform.

Following the revelation Friday from cryptocurrency exchange firm Bybit that hackers stole digital tokens worth about $1.5 billion – in what may be the biggest crypto heist of all time – CEO Ben Zhou wrote on X Sunday that it has replenished its reserves. Bybit was able to do this through a mix of emergency loans and large deposits.

Bybit CEO Ben Zhou announced that the exchange has fully recovered its Ethereum (ETH) reserves following a massive $1.5 billion exploit on February 21. He confirmed that a new audited Proof of Reserves (POR) report will soon be released to prove that client assets are once again backed 1:1.

Lazarus Group, hackers based in North Korea, tricked Bybit CEO Ben Zhou into approving a transfer of 400,000 ethereum tokens from his company's cold wallet.
