VALLARTA, Mexico -- Aldrich Potgieter had the lead going into the final round of the Mexico Open, minus the cushion he enjoyed after a sloppy finish Saturday that made him settle for a 4-under 67 and a one-shot advantage over Brian Campbell at Vidanta Vallarta.

Though his lead was cut from his overnight advantage of four, the 20-year-old PGA Tour rookie Aldrich Potgieter did well to stay in front ahead of the final round. Potigieter moved to 20-under with a four-under 67 in round three.

Drive for show and putt for dough is one of the more popular adages within the golf lexicon, and luckily for Aldrich Potgieter, he can do both. The 20-year-old South African fired a 10-under 61 at the Mexican Open on Friday,
