It is possible to obtain a specialist invite from Royal Navy, but this is only for one off and connected groups (cadet forces, partners( BAE employees, etc)) but other than this there is no option other than joint the Royal Navy itself. Even then chances are ultimately slim that you will end up on this particular ship.
