Beautifully preserved old city with very high city walls. Can be busy with tourists. Well worth visiting. Easy to get there on the bus.Full review by K5449NMdavidp

I am not dure about parking. However, in Rabat and Mdina (latter is the old walled city, former is the old and new suburb) all is whithin comfortable waking distance. The allies are narrow therefore it is rather easy to avoid the sun except when right overhead. I think 8-11 mornings or after 5 evening in August should be best. Mind the museums and other attractions time table ( nice escape places they are from the heat, mistly albeit not necessarily well aircon everywhere).
