It’s a nice walk from the cruise terminal if you are fit enough ; head up Patrick Street ( right turn as come out cruise terminal) and head straight up until Finnart street , turn right And west along Finnart street for a couple of blocks then left and right turn takes you into Newton street and again right and west as the street heads up the Lyle Hill ; you can do a loop by walking down the other side and head back along via the Esplanade ; use google maps to show you the route ; would take 90 plus minutes but it’s s nice walk through the west end with lovely views ; pick up one of the local info leaflets about the houses on the Esplanade which will make the walk back more interesting

Hi, it's not difficult, pavements all the way, depending on your ability 30 - 60 minutes from the dock. A good alternative is the volunteer guides who run trips from the boat round local attractions or us a taxi, but perhaps walk into town rather than use one from the boat as they will be looking for the "bigger" trips going further afield, also there is an open top tour bus usually meeting the cruise ships when they dock. you should get info on the boat about these i think.
Q:
How close is this from the cruise ships, thankyou
A:
By taxi about 10 mins walking depending on how fit you are a good half hour but up hill hope this helps

Gourock, who's town centre has recently been renovated, is a neighbouring town adjoining Greenock and approximately 3 miles west from it's town centre! The two main streets are Shore Street & Kempock Street, constitute the shopping area of Gourock which are lined with little shops! There are no actual souvenir shops there, but it is a lovely town, with quaint shops, bars and cafes! If you really want Scottish souvenirs and products, go to Largs which 14 miles further west from Gourock, they have a town centre full of little shops, pubs for lunch and renowned cafe's, with historical interests too!
Q:
Is it possible to get to Clyde Muirshiel Park from the cruise port in Greenock on a Sunday via public transportation, or a taxi?
A:
Hi, Your best way would be a taxi. I don't think there is public transport available on a Sunday. Hope that helps but if you need anything else, please ask. Kind regards.
