We did not have any problem neither in Sanliurfa nor on the motorway. There were many checks on the motorway, but we felt safer despite small delays.

You have to go to Sanliurfa in Turkey then get the Havas bus from the bus station number 100. If you look up Sanlurfia and fly there from where you are and base yourself in the main centre then it is easy to get to Gobeklitepe.
