Great hike through a wooded area. There are enough elevation changes to make it interesting, but not too difficult. Hiking poles are helpful with the hills and toots and rocks on the trail. You still…Full review by melendz

I have a friend who is wanting to propose on a nature/hiking trail so I am checking Texas State Parks-Buescher and Bastrop-for him, for reviews and trail tips from people who have been to either park. Looking at a potential February proposal. What do the trails look like during the month of February? I’m seeing several photos here of a couple of Burscher Trails from February’s past and they look lovely...green pine trees and other green hues. I noticed in one of the images for buscher state park there is a tent next to a screen shelter. We are planning a trip to the park soon. Our party of 8 includes some teen-age boys and girls. Could we set up two tents, one for the boys and the other for the girls, at one campsite location.
A:
Possibly so, but it might be best to call the park directly and ask one of the staff.
