Hi there, I'm looking at possibly organising a family picnic and I noticed your comments regarding Vogrie country park. Could you please tell me if we would need far too walk to get to the children's park section and also if there is a large open space near the children's parks for our family picnic please? It's really hard for me to organise as I live in England so I'm not familiar to the area and wouldn't want our older family members trekking too far yet trying to please the children. Hi. We have been able to book an area for our church family BBQ for 70-80 people every year. The area is enclosed in 3 sides, great when we have so many little ones. There are also 2 smaller BBQ areas. There is a small play park near there. The large play park is less than a 10 minute walk through beautiful grounds. There is lots of space for a family picnic. Hope that helps.
