Cool old building with well kept grounds. The fairy lake was cute and fun. The detail on the building is impressive. Worth a visit.Full review by geelongexpat

Great house tour with Tara our guide who was full of information. The walks and grounds are lovely to explore. The restaurant had great coffee.Full review by Shirley I
Does anyone have a strong preference between castletown house and russborough?
A:
Russborough is better preserved, has a lot more of its contents kept in the house and on view. Go to both, take the tours but if you can only get to 1, I would go to Russborough.
Hi, how long does it take to see the house and do the maze?
A:
The guided tour lasts almost an hour. They leave on the hour ie. at 1.00pm then 2.00pm then 3.00pm etc. The Maze needs half an hour -particularly if you have children !!
