It is a very nice area where you can take good photos of the port, with good views of the sea. There is a sign representing the image from the Game of Thrones series, so you can easily locate it.Full review by Sònia A

What a great Harbour and rocks, beautiful. Plenty of free parking, great rocks to scramble on and fantastic walk on the coastal path. Well worth a stop.Full review by Edward S

Hi. We will be staying in Ballycastle and intend driving to Ballintoy where we will walk to giants causeway then stay overnight...next day we will walk from causeway to portstewart where i will take bus back to Ballintoy for small car. The question is...is there anywhere in or near Ballintoy I can park overnight (actually a day and a half)...i guess its not possible to oark overnight actually at the harbour ?

There are free places to park on the street in Ballintoy village. You can walk down to the harbour (approx 20 mins) from there.

No tour taken - not needed if you do any research. Spend as long - or as little - a time as you want. Walking and looking and relaxing are difficult to quantify. I can imagine some spending 5 minutes, taking photo and leaving. Others could spend 5 hours walking along the point, down the bay and having a coffee / meal at the cafe just taking it all in. Up to your schedule.
