It's all free all the banks of the canal And Salford Quays have shops,restaurants and cafes , all free.. Flat ground as well Very nice area , Tram not that far away back to city centre
Exactly what facilities re food and drink are available on the boat are are we better bringing our own food and wine

There is café, which serves light lunches, snacks and hot drinks. Not sure about alcoholic drinks. But I am sure, one would not die of hunger or thirst on board!
