Might not be open Monday's. Check out on Google. Going there at 3pm or later may not give you enough time to view all. Perhaps go Saturday morning.

Hi - I would suggest that if you intend visiting a few museums that you get the Istanbul Museum Card. It's cheaper and available at the museums included in the scheme. The mosaic museum is pretty quiet and you could get it there without much of a queue. It is of course available to buy at the archaeological museum but there will probably be a much longer queue.
