Weather predictions, which are really not accuare beyond 3 days, say that October is slated to be sunny and warmer than last October. And yes, Ithaca weather is always a crap shoot. that said we are already having the warm to very warm days and cool nights that usually produce gorgeous October colors. Bring your umbrella and enjoy the spectacle --colors are lovely even when its grey.

Yes if you like to walk around and see the fall leaf changes but more spectacular is a drive along Cayuga lake - Breath taking that time of the year, plus visit a few wineries on the way !
