Not sure there’s a bad time to go. Guess summer is more likely for good weather and clear skies. We were there in September right after a hurricane with winds and intermittent rain. Didn’t stop us from enjoying the beautiful vistas and moody seas. I think it’s personal preference. If you plan to go out and walk wear sturdy shoes. Enjoy!
