I finished the final touches on this painting study for my mock Dune 2 poster. Boy was I getting picky with that sandworm! A study like this is so incredibly important to do for me before starting the final art. It’s where I work out what I want to do specifically with the painting materials. I am really loving this white acrylic ink and it’s translucent qualities. It was especially helpful when I was trying to bring in some brighter values at the top of this painting, above the sandworm. I am so excited for the second Dune movie to come out in November 🐫🌞 this Paul Atreides character illustration is the first part of my opening pages for my June Bullet Journal spread. I’m using a variety of different markers here from Copic to Winsor and Newton brush markers and a whole bunch of other kinds. Trying to get this spread all done before June begins and also will post a longer more in depth video on my YT channel. Going to definitely share more snippets on here. So excited to share
