Frontier airlines is now strictly enforcing their personal and carry on bag size policy at the gate. All three times I have been through DIA flying frontier recently they have sized every single person’s bag on the way onto the aircraft.

Sure, other airlines cancel flights but Frontier lies to us and does everything they can to not give us refunds or vouchers. Frontier *wants* you to miss your flight, so they can keep your money, give your seat to someone else, and then you possibly you buy another ticket from them. Frontier is a very evil scammy company.

It’s not even the delays. It’s Frontier’s shamefully underhanded manner of handling operations when things go wrong. Frontier is the ONLY airline that will not pay for any overnight accommodation for significant delays. Frontier’s sole DOT commitment to passengers is to provide meal compensation for significant delays.

Jul 5, 2023 · Frontier is one of the only airlines that actually cares about bag sizes, and that hurts a populace that has been conditioned not to worry about it. The major airlines also list bag size requirements for carry-on bags, for example. But I've never seen any of them enforce those size requirements except in egregious examples.

Dec 31, 2023 · Frontier plans to turn San Juan into a transit hub with intra-Caribbean routes, similar to the former American Airlines SJU hub. Also plans flights from SJU to major scale US domestic destinations which could mean flights to the Western Region.

Mar 19, 2024 · Think about it this way, the GWP is a way for Frontier to possibly fill seats that otherwise would go empty on these flights. Nope, one day means one day. (It's not technically 24 hours, I've seen folks book tickets at 3am ET for a flight at 10pm ET the next day.)

May 30, 2023 · The main issue I would say is the flight delays. This issue was common, throughout the airport, specially with frontier, as I could see on their app. So make sure you keep checking the flights and their timing either through the frontier app or flightaware. The planes are not in the best condition and the service is mid at best.

Sep 16, 2023 · The trip I am trying to book a Frontier flight isn't until February. I will fly somewhere else on American Airlines this Saturday. I feel like just purchasing the tickets at the Frontier counter when I get to the airport on Saturday.

For a random day I checked in May, United had standard economy (not basic economy) flights from $76, including a carry-on bag, $35 for a checked bags, free seat selection - and fully cancelable/changeable unlike Frontier. Same day Southwest is from $85 with 2 free bags. Not saying don't book Frontier - just be sure to consider the full price.
