Month after month, Ukraine has increased the size and scope of its drone assaults within Russia despite the war's strategic pressures.

Earlier Tuesday, a senior Russian officials said the 12-hour discussions were "detailed and complex," Russian state media reported.

Russia and the United States did not adopt a joint statement after Monday's talks in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, as reported by Reuters on Tuesday, citing Russian parliamentarian Vladimir Chizhov.

The U.S. reached deals with Ukraine and Russia to pause their attacks over the Black Sea and against each other's energy targets, but it was not clear when and how the deals would come into force.

Drones and missiles may have struck a few Russian factories and depots and triggered a few frightening blazes, but firefighters eventually extinguished the flames and workers eventually rebuilt. All the while, Ukrainian forces were still incrementally losing ground in eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine is ready to proceed with a ceasefire prohibiting attacks on energy infrastructure, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, in line with a deal that was brokered by the United States during three days of negotiations with Ukrainian and Russian officials in the Saudi capital.
