Moriela Sanchez, 18, asked the 911 operator to send cops and an ambulance because someone was attacking people on the uptown F train subway car, according to audio of the call revealed during her testimony in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The ugliest answer here is almost certainly the truest: Penny is white and Neely is black, and the central idea that animates woke DAs like Bragg (and the leftist legislators who’ve utterly eroded our criminal justice system) is that black people are dying in an epidemic of white violence.

The video was shown to jurors in Penny’s highly charged manslaughter trial in Manhattan Supreme Court in the May 2023 death of subway busker Neely.
