FedEx is back delivering packages for Amazon six years after it publicly severed ties. Amazon announced that FedEx and several other carriers, including the U.S. Post Office, have signed contracts to deliver packages to residential customers, the last-mile delivery that is the most expensive for carriers.

FedEx (FDX) stock rose nearly 7% on Monday after reports said that Amazon has roped in the company to deliver large packages. According to reports, the multi-year agreement covers residential delivery of select large packages for Amazon.
